Sharlene's High School graduation

6/3/09
When Sharlene went to Kindergarten for the first time I cried for a week. She was so tiny I couldn't believe she was actually going to school! I still wanted to protect and watch over her and I had to let her go and couldn't be there to hold her hand and protect her. I could only hope that she would be ok. I felt the same way with her graduating. How can my little baby be going out into this big world?

For some strange reason Shar's high school had her graduation outside! YES, in JUNE! Here in FLORIDA! It was HOT! I don't know how the graduates sat there and endured the heat! I am very thankful for my family and friends that came to support Shar despite the heat with the kids! Kristine, Kerri, Alycia! Thanks so much! I know you all were dying and the kids were so good putting up with being bored and HOT.

ok, so it took me 2 months to see this blog post, but it's also taken you 2 months to post another blog entry...gesh! Anyhow...I just cried. Seriously. I don't have a child in school, let alone graduating...but I felt it. It's this overwhelming sense of gradification, you did it baby girl, at the same time, OMG...is she really graduating? UGH!!! BitterSweet....but a wonderful thing. It really is. Hugs to Mom.
